HORIZON – FAQ’s :


1. Mode of transport used between cities from one exhibition point to the other?
Travel between cities is by air except from New York to Washington that would be covered by road.

2. Justify high basic cost?
Horizon experience is like a cruise in the Toyota compared to the one in Maruti.
To list a few; very prime venues, union labor, extensive marketing like never before and finally choice of flights, hotels with meals et al.

3. Why the selected venues?
As the saying goes ‘location, location, location,’ key to heavy footfalls’
Horizon venues have good connectivity to all Indian catchment areas.

4. Your strategy to attract 10,000 footfalls?
Historically Indian Expo’s in US have marketed only in Indian newspapers and on Zee TV drawing approx 3000 visitors.

Horizon 2007 is the first India Real Estate Expo covering every possible marketing medium to get maximum reach and heavy footfalls.

Media coverage ranges from Internet, Print, TV, Direct Mailers, and Outdoors hoardings and to top it all the highlights - Horizon mobile van traveling across the country distributing show catalogue and creating awareness.

Given these facts Horizon will easily witness 3 to 4 times more visitors than previously held Indian Real Estate Expos.

5. Past experience in organizing such shows?
Our expertise comes from organizing and exhibiting at shows over the last 2 years.

On the Organizers front the KRC has hosted 2 events inviting four builders from India leading to an overwhelming response that in turn has led us to organizing this large-scale event.

Our valuable learning comes from being an exhibitor once is to avoid certain mistakes and focus on high priority areas such as: venue selection, extensive targeted marketing etc.

6. Media break-up and Publicity updates.

7. Builders /Participants looking to stay back after the show.
Participants looking to stay back after the show and travel at a later date or considering a stopover at the transiting country are requested to submit their request before 14 th Feb’07, enabling us to make the necessary itinerary changes.

8. Visa Rejection
In the event where US visa gets rejected for some unknown reasons. KRC will refund payment made after deducting 10% administrative costs.

9. What does the travel package comprise off?
Travel package: Visas, flights international & domestic, stay, meals, local sightseeing. To sum it all we will take care from the time participant leaves India till return.

On arrival into US all participants will be handed a welcome kit comprising of local sim card, hotel keys and important local information.

10. Weather during exhibition month and types of clothing to be carried.
Beginning of summer but still Chilly, so, warm woolen clothing including long coats is highly advisable.

11. Commitment to deliver as promised

12. Choice of the month - March’07
From the business angle, March is a very busy and favorable month. All major Expos are organized during this time of the year. March is also a tax refund month in USA, which makes it most pocket – friendly month of the year.

13. Any entry fee for Visitors?
The Expo is open to public and is free of cost.
